Carvin guitar builder software
Allan Holdsworth worked closely with Carvin Guitars for over two years back in the 's developing his signature model. Carvin built close to a dozen prototypes to arrive at a guitar that Allan would proudly put his name on.
The HF2 "Fatboy" model has many unique design features including the alder wood set-in neck and chambered out semi-hollow body. As a result, the highly resonant tone is incredible. H22 Holdsworth pickups were designed to bring out the singing characteristics of the instrument.

Could I possibly get a Carvin and actually keep the pickups? Messages 1, Finally making pickups that aren't different looking, which is a big part of what people don't like about their pickups. As for the sounds, who knows what they will sound like. The ones I saw were directed towards their 7 and 8 string crowd with a 6 string coming soon. I am guessing that doesn't mean paf clone. And considering that I live in the U. As somebody who has been looking into ordering at ordering at least one model from Kiesel, it has now unfortunately put me off ever ordering anything from them in the near future, unless things change with their ordering process and support for international customers, which is a shame as I have heard really good things about them, so instead I'm currently looking at getting a Strandberg with basically the same specs to itch my headless guitar curiosity.
TheLateGreatJC said:. I used to get those catalogs and thought they looked so cool. I tried a couple at a Carvin store. They were good I don't really have any interest any longer. Just too many other options out there now. I was surprised by how much I liked the Suhr Modern. I've always loved the look of Carvin stuff, and I can't deny that it's been historically quality stuff. There has, however, always been this unfounded bias that would prevent me from buying one.
It has alot to do with the fact that general desire for them is really low, and resale value has been really bad. Then you start to spiral into the 'Well, if nobody else want's one, why should I want one', and 'Well, nobody is going to really want to buy this from me for a price that would be worth me selling it; do I want to keep this guitar forever? I always see somebody else playing a Carvin and think 'Nice guitar dude - that thing is really great'. Then I think if they turned around and said 'Thanks man; want to give it a spin?
I'd sell it to you if you're interested', I'd most certainly think 'No thanks - I'm good. You enjoy it though. They just happened to have a used Kiesel on the wall I think it was an Aries- I remember the bevel top.
I looked great, and my buddy picked it up and was amazed, like he had found some unknown gem. Then I piped in and said, 'That's a Carvin; it's what they changed their name to recently. I felt bad, like I ruined something for him. I tried to talk it up a bit, but I realized that he must have had the same kind of poor, unfair, and wrong preconceptions that I did, since I didn't feel any pull towards the guitar either. I probably saw the Kiesel that I would have build myself, and still didn't want to buy it.

Messages 8, Can you no longer custom order a guitar? Why does everything have 24 frets?
