Mormon rap download

Mormon Rap is still far from as popular as the Mormon pop, country, and even rock you can expect on the next EFY CD, but it has started to produce some legitimately professional and entertaining tracks. The nephew of Grammy-nominated Jenny Oak Bakers, Sugar Sop started his band as a response to the shocking amount of vulgarity in hip-hop music.

But his songs are also remarkably insightful and specific to the Latter-day Saint experience. Still a student, Colby Ferrin has found an impressive niche as a featured singer on two powerful duets in the last year.

And my pride is too great and spacious. Go chill with the mormons, that would be smart. Cause our families are as big as our hearts. Ya see I'm followin hard to what the prophet preaches I'm trying to do what my teacher teaches. Reading the book of mormon, tryin to fix my weakness In the congregation listenin to all the speeches. I listen to the Mo Tab, I find it calming, But I gotta get to work, cause that's my calling Try to prepare good lessons, cause I don't wanna bore em' Studyin the manual for elder's quorum.

So I wait up in the front for a minute or two, To see if anyone in there, had followed through. But I figured they'd forget, so I brought a few, I'm so good I've got manuals for all of you!! Not only is Jamesthemormon inspiring me and my family, but by the simple act of sharing his videos, songs, messages, and more it has given me the opportunity to share the gospel with others in a whole new way.

I have always connected to music and know that a lot of people are the same. James has this way of making you really feel things through his songs. The motivation of his purpose to bring people to Christ through his talents is wonderful.

About time LDS hip hop gets on the map! Or at least one of them… ;D Keep it up! The tune and words are catchy and stuck with me. Keep it up — you two have talent and are using well. LDS Rap? Share This: Facebook. Stephanie Pack.
